New Church Photo Directory by Lifetouch

May 11-13, 2017. Contact the Church Office to schedule an appointment for your family.

In order to have a free church photo directory we need parishioners to make appointments with the Church Office for photo sittings. LifeTouch will be in the Fellowship Hall to take photos from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday, May 11, and Friday, May12.They will also be here from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Saturday, May 13. In addition to a free directory, each sitting receives a free 8 x 10 photograph. The Thursday and Friday times were given especially to accommodate work schedules of those who have to work on Saturdays. If that is you, please make an appointment early; don’t wait till the last minute. The last time the church made a photo directory was in 2010, so it is time for a new one!

The church is in need of a person who is willing and able to be the chairman of our 30th anniversary fundraiser in late summer/early autumn 2017. If you have these skills, please contact Fr. Nathan or one of the Parish Council members and let them know you want the job

Words of Wisdom

"We have the power of the Holy Cross, our holy symbol, the divine grace of Christ, only as long as we have the holy marking of the Holy Baptism, meaning we have denied the devil and sided with Christ, and received the Holy Marking, the seal of the Gift of the Holy Spirit." -- Elder Paisios of the Holy Mountain

Commemoration of Thomas the Apostle, Called “The Twin” (April 23)

While the tomb was sealed, Thou didst shine forth from it, O Light. While the doors were closed, Thou didst come in to Thy Disciples, O Christ God, Resurrection of all, renewing in us through them an upright spirit, according to the greatness of Thy mercy. (Apolytikion in Tone 7)
